Using "Green" products is only one step towards a complete program. The Green products coming on the market today have little or no effect on indoor air quality (IAQ) and very low or no VOC'S.
The first step in a Green cleaning program is your buildings HVAC system. This must be properly maintained. Filters should be changed regularly and a positive air flow in the building are very important. Also the air ducts should be kept free of dust and mold.
The Environmental Protection Agency ( E.P.A. )ranks poor Indoor Air Quality ( I.A.Q.)among the TOP FIVE (5) Health Risks in the United States today. Indoor Air Pollution is considered by the E.P.A. to be today's # 1 Environmental Health Problem. Studies by the E.P.A. indicate that indoor air levels of pollutants are often five (5) times higher than outside air. Occasionally, indoor air pollutants can be as high as 100 times that of outside air.
Another critical step in the
green cleaning program is
effective matting. Proper size and type help keep dirt and debris from
being tracked in and spread throughout the building.
Carpets,Hardwood,Marble and tile stay clean longer
and need less chemicals to maintain. This
means even less VOC'S. IAQ will also benefit
from proper matting.
Using micro filters in vacuums is also essential
in
a
complete Green cleaning program.
Our vacuums are certified by CRI

All these steps combined will increase IAQ and reduce the toxic effects of VOC'S on everyone!
